KARACHI: (HRNW) The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Friday raided a house in Surjani Town, Karachi, and arrested a target killer belonging to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London (MQM-L).
According to details, the suspect has been identified as Ghazanfar Ali alias Ali Mota, who murdered a local official of a religious organization, Qari Muhammed Ameen, on February 23, 2013.
During the murder incident, Ali Mota was accompanied by his accomplice Nadeem Abbas, who was arrested on the spot. While, Ghazanfar Ali was declared a wanted criminal.
In-charge CTD Chaudhry Ghulam Safdar said the suspect was being handed over to the relevant police for further legal procedure as more revelations were expected from him.
