KARACHI (HRNW) A man allegeldy stabbed to death his mother-in-law in the Baldia Town area over a property dispute with his in-laws.
On Thursday morning, a woman’s body was found inside the house near Imam Bukhari Mosque in the Saeedabad area of Baldia Town and was killed with a sharp instrument. As soon as the information was received, police and rescue workers reached the spot, and the body was shifted to Dr Ruth KM Pfau Civil Hospital for post-mortem.
The victim’s husband, Noor Muhammad, claimed that Yar Gul, their son-in-law, killed his wife due to a protracted property dispute. He also mentioned the defendant’s drug addiction.
On Thursday morning, Gul came home and was quarrelling with his mother-in-law, during which he killed Bakhtoon Bibi by stabbing her with a sharp instrument and escaped from the spot. The police are conducting raids at various places in search of the accused.
