KARACHI (HRNW) The negligence of K-Electric has taken another life in Karachi as a man died of electrocution amid a fresh spell of heavy rain here on Monday.
The electrocution incident took place in Karachi’s Malir area today as heavy rainfall lashed different areas of the metropolis.
According to rescue sources, the man, identified as Munir, was electrocuted to death after he accidentally touched an electric pole during rainfall.
His body was moved to Jinnah hospital for medico-legal formalities, according to rescue officials.
Parts of Karachi on Monday received heavy to moderate rainfall with the Met Office forecasting that suburb areas of the city will receive downpours till tomorrow.
