Internal security, flood situation reviewed in Corps Commanders Conference

Rawalpindi (HRNW) The 251st Corps Commanders’ Conference was held today at the GHQ, presided over by the Chief of Army Staff of the Pakistan Army, General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

The forum was briefed in detail on the external and internal security situation. The forum undertook a comprehensive review of the security environment with special focus on situation along the borders, internal security and other professional matters of the Pakistan Army. The forum resolved that resurgence of terrorism will not be tolerated. The formations, rank and file of the Pakistan Army will leave no stone unturned to take action against terrorist organisations in coordination with all law enforcement agencies.

Expressing satisfaction over operational preparedness of various military formations, the COAS especially directed all elements of the Pakistan Army to maintain strict vigil in order to guard the country against any threat.
