Karachi (HRNW) The weekly performance report of Karachi Police has been released. According to the report, there were 13 encounters between the district police and dacoits in the city. In the exchange of fire, 01 bandit was killed while 20 bandits were arrested including 13 injured bandits. 18 different types of illegal weapons and 10 motorcycles were recovered from the arrested accused.
Police arrested a total of 977 suspects during raids in Karachi’s East, West and South Zones last week.
Police recovered 86 kg 441 grams of hashish, 07 kg 720 grams of heroin and 02 kg 554 grams of ice worth lakhs of rupees from different areas.
More than 146 different types of illegal weapons and ammunition used in looting from citizens and other incidents were taken into custody from the arrested street criminals.
Special Investigation Unit Karachi arrested 17 suspects during various operations and recovered 03 pistols with loaded magazines, 14 kg 250 grams of hashish and 04 stolen motorcycles.
Karachi Police took into custody 95 stolen motorcycles and 01 vehicle in different areas.
Actions taken by the Karachi Police to eradicate crime, restore law and order and protect the public will continue.
