Karachi (HRNW) In Tipu Sultan area of Karachi, the police foiled an attempt to abduct a two-year-old girl, the housemaid involved in the incident was arrested.
According to SSP East Abdul Rahim Shirazi, two-year-old girl Rameen Saad disappeared mysteriously from Karachi Admin Society Block 7.
Saad Faisal, the girl’s father, immediately reported the disappearance to Tipu Sultan police station, SHO Uzma Khan along with the police party immediately reached the spot.
According to SHO Uzma Khan, the police took the help of the footage of the CCTV cameras installed in front of the house.
Inspector Uzma Khan said that in the CCTV footage, the young girl was seen holding the woman’s finger.
With the help of the footage, the trace of the woman involved in the abduction of the girl and the incident was found, the police party took immediate action and arrested the accused Shaista’s wife Shehbaz and recovered the girl.
The police said that the accused Shaista turned out to be a maid of the house near the crime scene, the girl’s father Saad Faisal forgave the abductor and refused to take legal action against the accused.
According to the police, the girl was handed over to her parents, but the accused is in custody for further action.
