Karachi (HRNW) Korangi Police arrested six suspects and recovered weapons during various operations.
Encounters with the accused took place in Landhi, Shah Faisal and Khokhar police stations. According to the police, the robbery suspects were fleeing after looting from the citizens, who were chased by the patrolling police.
The accused opened fire on the police. In the retaliatory firing, six robbers were arrested, including four injured accused. Two accomplices of the accused escaped and are being searched. The arrested robbery suspects have revealed dozens of robbery incidents on Malir, Korangi and Qayyumabad rivers.
