Karachi (HRNW) Provincial Minister for Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department Mukesh Kumar Chawla has given the details of the taxes collected by the Sindh Excise and Taxation Department in the current financial year and said that in the current financial year from July 2022 to March 2023. A total of Rs 95405.348 million tax was collected. Rs 8038.749 million in motor vehicle tax, Rs 82154.567 million in infrastructure cess, Rs 459.972 million in professional tax, Rs 3.308 million in cotton fee and the remaining amount was were collected in term of other taxes. Meanwhile Provincial Minister Mukesh Kumar Chawla,in his statement, has termed the over all situation of tax collection as satisfactory and has said that it is hoped that the tax targets will be achieved before the end of this financial year. He also advised the tax defaulters to take advantage of the online tax filing facility and deposit their due taxes on time to avoid any ontoward situation.
In the current fiscal year, from July to March, a total of more than 95405 million rupees tax collected. Mukesh Kumar Chawla
