‘Celebrating Culture and Collaboration at Chand Bagh College’

Lahore (HRNW) Lahore Arts Council’s delegation of seven members from Alhamra Arts Council visited Chand Bagh College Muridke and participated in their cultural event, “Dalane-e-Saqafat.” The program featured performances by students from the Chand Bhagh, instructors, and young artists from the Alhamra Academy of Performing Arts. The administration and students of Chand Bagh College warmly welcomed the Alhamra team. Principal Ms. Faryal Sheikh of Chand Bagh College extended a heartfelt welcome to the Alhamra team. The students of Chand Bagh College showcased various elements of Pakistani culture, including songs and poetry recitations.

In the show’s second segment, Moeen Khan, an Alhamra Academy of Performing Arts flute instructor, mesmerized the audience with a splendid flute performance, winning their hearts and receiving applause. Ustad Abdul Rauf from Alhamra Academy of Performing Arts also showcased his remarkable performance, enchanting the crowd and imparting his knowledge to the enthusiastic students.

The tabla players from Alhamra Academy also performed remarkably, adding to the cultural festival. Principal Ms, Faryal Sheikh of Chand Bagh College expressed her gratitude to Executive Director Alhamra Muhammad Saleem Sagar, the artist from Alhamra Academy, and the Alhamra officers. She stated that she takes pride in the collaboration between Chand Bagh College and Alhamra and looks forward to future partnerships for cultural exchange.

Executive Director Alhamra Muhammad Saleem Sagar sincerely appreciated Chand Bagh College Muridke’s invitation, emphasizing Alhamra’s commitment to promoting art and nurturing young talent. He acknowledged the students’ and instructors’ dedication and passion and highlighted the strong bond between Alhamra and the younger generation. Regarding MoU, Mr. Sagar stated that Alhamra has an open-door policy for art lovers. Mr. Sagar expressed his intention to take prompt action regarding the MoU. He added that Alhamra has a strong connection with the youth and will continue to deepen it.

Deputy Director Muhammad Aarif, Academy Supervisor Naveen Rooma, and Information Officer Samreen Bukhari from Alhamra Arts Council attended the cultural event.
