ISLAMABAD (HRNW) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Ayaz Sadiq on Tuesday lambasted the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying the embattled party had “surpassed” India during the events that transpired on May 9.
Addressing a Senate session, Ayaz took a swipe at the PTI, adding, “They [PTI] have made the democracy a farce. Only one candidate has run for the elections from the several seats in order to gain power”.
“Today’s Senate session includes the same people who spoke about vandalism earlier,” Ayaz added.
He urged the PTI leadership to stop harming the country for the “selfish reasons”.
