RAWALPINDI (HRNW) Section 144 was imposed in Rawalpindi in view of the threat of possible protests over the arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman.
The notification of implementation of Section 144 in Rawalpindi was issued by the Rawalpindi deputy commissioner, according to which there will be a complete ban on all kind of gatherings, processions and sit-ins.
In Rawalpindi, the use of loudspeakers and carrying weapons will also be banned besides wall-chalking and double-riding will also be banned.
