of the United Nations with the aim to to formulate first ever Food System Dashboard in the country.

Speaking on the occasion DG SFA Agha Fakhar Hussain said Food Systems Dashboard gives a complete view of food systems by bringing together data from multiple sources. It’s now possible to compare drivers, components, and outcomes of food systems across countries and regions, gain insights into challenges, and identify actions to improve nutrition, health, and environmental outcomes.

He added , ‘ To my knowledge, the Food Systems Dashboard (FSD) is the first that collects country-level data across all components of the food system and provides deeper analysis and guidance on how to use this data in meaningful ways ‘.
DG SFA Agha Fakhar Hussain said that malnutrition and food insecurity was a big problem of less developed countries and Sindh Food Authority had taken many initiatives to address the issue and formation of Dashboard would be helpful to the policy makers of this sector.
