Sindhi Language Authority Initiated Sindhi language course, Says Aisha Khan

Karachi (HRNW)  Three months ago, Sindhi Language Authority initiated a basic Sindhi language course for those whose mother tongue is other than Sindhi. I was fortunate enough to join the first batch and had a wonderful experience there. I would like to share some notable points: The classes do not follow the traditional way of teaching, which often involves cramming grammatical rules; instead, they focus on all four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Before this course, I couldn’t speak a word of Sindhi; now, I can speak and write sentences of a basic nature. Each learner receives special attention from our respected instructor, who encourages everyone to be an active participant in the class. We have learned various aspects of Sindhi language, including Sindhi Alphabet Patti (kakh), which is crucial for understanding the sounds and written shapes of words, unfortunately, this Patti is no longer taught at the primary level. Moreover, the course includes a variety of activities designed to assess learners, enhance their proficiency, and foster creativity. Overall, this course offers a golden opportunity for those who are interested in learning the basics of Sindhi.
