Arrival of the Iranian President in Karachi, public entry will be closed at Movenpick Hotel

Karachi (HRNW) Strict security arrangements are being made for Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi’s visit to Pakistan. In view of his arrival in Karachi, the management of Movenpick Hotel has announced to close the entry of the public in the hotel for three days.
Movenpick Hotel has canceled the booking of all events in view of high security risk.
According to the hotel management, Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi and his delegation will be accommodated in Movenpick Hotel under strict security. The federal government immediately issued orders to accommodate the Iranian president and his accompanying delegation in a hotel. All activities in the hotel will be suspended from Monday to Wednesday during the stay of the Iranian President at the Movenpick Hotel. The outlets of various brands established in Movenpick Hotel will also be closed.
It has also been decided to take the Movenpick Hotel into government custody for forty-eight hours for the high-level delegation. Due to security reasons, Karachi’s five-star hotel Move In Pick will remain under the custody of law enforcement agencies
For the security of the high-level delegation, the control of the hotel will remain with the security agencies.
The hotel management has announced to suspend all activities and reserve the hotel for high level delegation activities.
Move In Pick Hotel will be closed to the public and other guests from 12 noon on Monday 22 April 2024 until noon on Wednesday 24 April 2024.
