Mirpurkhas clinched Pakistan Day Night Ringball Series trophy

Hyderabad  (HRNW) Mirpurkhas won the three-match Ringball series between Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas held at Bagh e Mustafa Ground Latifabad under the auspices of Hyderabad Ringball Association on the occasion of Pakistan Day by defeating host by 2-1. In the third and final match, the winning team won 2-1. On behalf of the winning team, Muneeb Bajwa scored 2 and Jawad Murri scored 1, while Hashim scored the only shot for Hyderabad.

The series was inaugurated by Chairman Hyderabad Ringball Association Ahmed Nawaz along with Khalil ur Rehman on March 23 and the series was tied 1-1 after two matches. The chief guest of the final was Perwaiz Ahmed Shaikh, member Sindh Olympic Association & secretary Hyderabad Olympic Sports Committee, who was presented with gifts of Ajraks by organizing secretary Syed Faham Ali, coordinator Ramiz Raja and technical official Muhammad Ehsan.

In his address on this occasion, he said that Hyderabad has always been the centre of sports and many athletes have achieved national and international feats. From here and other divisions due to educational and employment factor in major cities of the country including Karachi they represented there in sports. He says that only with the provision of facilities and integrated strategy, the graph of our achievements will rise further.

As Chef de Mission Hyderabad Division he congratulated thanked the players, coaches, associations and Aisha Irum, Anila Mehwish, Ahmed Nawaz, Rameez Raja, who were the part of the organizing committee from Hyderabad, for giving Hyderabad a prominent position in the 18th Sindh Games with 150 medals. In the end, Perwaiz Ahmed Shaikh along with Organizing Secretary Syed Faham Ali distributed the trophies.
