MQM  expressed concern over the financial and administrative crisis of the KU

Karachi (HRNW) Members of Sindh Assembly of MQM Pakistan have expressed deep concern over the financial and administrative crisis of University of Karachi.
In their statement, the MQM Sindh Assembly members said that the teachers’ association in Karachi University has been on strike for evening classes for the past several days because they have not been paid for the evening classes since last year. The teachers are now going on strike in the morning classes as well, which will cause educational loss to the students and also tarnish the good name of University of Karachi.
It has been further said in the statement that the Employees Union of Karachi University is also on strike because it is not being given leave encashment and other benefits.
The members of the Sindh Assembly have demanded the Prime Minister of Pakistan and the Vice Chancellor of University of Karachi to resolve the demands of the teachers and employees and to pay their legitimate dues immediately.
It has been said in the statement that the government should increase the grant of the University of Karachi for the teachers and employees to end the financial crisis of the University of Karachi and to secure the future of the students.
