Electricity load shedding in Karachi, Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Munim Zafar sent letter to NEPRA

Karachi (HRNW) Amir Muneem Zafar Khan of Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi has sent a letter to Nepra regarding worst load shedding of K Electric.
The letter said that Nepra should take notice of the worst load shedding of electricity and take action. It has been 18 years since the privatization of K Electric. This institution has not yet been able to end load shedding.
Munum Zafar has further said in his letter that the people of Karachi are suffering from 18 hours of load shedding despite timely submission of electricity bills. K Electric has also started load shedding in areas exempted from load shedding. Due to loadshedding, students of matriculation and other classes are suffering from severe problems.
Munum Zafar has also sent copies of the letter to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Supreme Court of Pakistan, Federal Minister for Energy Power Division and others.
A public press conference will be held in front of the head office of K Electric on Tuesday, May 7, against the poor performance of K Electric.
