KARACHI (HRNW) K-Electric and FIA are conducting joint operations against electricity thieves across the city.
According to the spokesperson K Electric, several arrests were also made in 13 joint operations against electricity thieves – electricity thieves and defaulters were fined 33 to 44 million rupees.
Operations against illegal use of electricity are necessary to reduce line losses.
According to the spokesman K Electric, in the current fiscal year, a campaign to remove more than 24,000 coils has been conducted.
FIRs have been registered against more than 900 electricity thieves in the last 9 months – During the current financial year, the institution has organized 240 convenience camps.
