Economy has been put on a ventilator, factories are closing: Sindh minister

KARACHI (HRNW) Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce & Cooperative Department Jam Ikramuallah Dharejo has responded to the statements of the selected Ministers of the elected Government, saying that the Selected Government Ministers are constantly lying in talk shows and press conferences. In this regard, unsuccessful attempts are being made to throw false data in media. He said that the country ‘ s economy figures are screaming while the load-shedding of electricity and gas is causing the economy to suffer due to the lack of facilities for the industrialists. Provincial Minister Jam Ikramullah Dharejo said that the domestic industries were shut down. There was no progress in economic zones. Due to less export the country’ s economy has been lagged at the brink of collapse. Jam Ikramullah Dharejo said that the country’ s deficit is increasing day by day, while the incompetent government is showing more incompetence and the development budget is spending on non development issues and development budget is being deducted. He added, ‘ If the supply of foreign credit stops, then the economy will take its last breath, so there is a dire need to work for export growth. If there is an export then money will come into the country, . Jam Ikramuallah Dharejo said that if federal government would provide facilities to industrialists then the current economy
would come out of its current bad situation. He was sure that in the current tax system, export industry could not grow. Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce & Cooperative Department Jam Ikramuallah Dharejo advised the federal government to bring down the GST as control the worsening economic condition. He said that the incompetent government was constantly pushing the country into a swamp of debt which would in turn lead to the destruction of the country.
