PCG Seizes Irani diesel, hashish and contraband items

Karachi (HRNW)- Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) seized Irani Diesel, Hashish, Betel Nuts and contraband items at Naka Khari Check Post on RCD Highway near Windar (Balochistan).
On credible information from intelligence resources about the smuggling of Irani Diesel, Betel Nuts and contraband items in general area Windar on RCD Highway, following seizures were carried out by PCG Special checking during the preceding week:-
1. At Gwadar (Balochistan) in the open sea, PCG officials recovered 80,000 liters of Irani diesel from different boats. 07 smuggler along with Irani Diesel and boats were taken under custody.
2. At Naka Khari Check Post (Windar), PCG officials recovered 56,360 liters of Irani diesel from different trucks. The said trucks were coming from Balochistan to Karachi. 02 smuggler along with Irani Diesel and trucks were taken under custody.
3. During checking at Naka Khari Check Post (Windar), PCG officials spotted a suspicious passenger coach. On searching the coach, PCG officials recovered approx 05 Kilograms of fine quality of Hashish in the vehicle and arrested 01 accused’ alongwith Hashish were taken under custody.
4. During routine checking at Naka Khari check post 2,195 Crates Apple Irani, 583 Crates Pomegranate and 886 Crates Kiwi Fruit Irani have been recovered from different vehicles.
5. At Pasni (Balochistan) PCG mobile patrol team recovered approx 25,000 Liters of Irani diesel in general area of Badoak.
6. At Naka Khari during checking, PCG official recovered 9,365 Kgs Betel Nuts, 36 Nos Tyres, 05 Nos AC, 59 Bags China Salt, 410 Pkts Naswar, 395 Pkts Indian Gutka, 606 Dozn Padlock, 216 Dozn Soaps, 83 Dozn Perfume, 72 Nos Thermos, 02 Drums Menthol,
1908 Nos Body Spray, 200 Kgs Cloth, 50 Nos Hair Cutting Machine, 280 Nos Skin Powder, 1085 Stks Cigarette in different vehicles and 50,000 liters Irani diesel being under grab of white spirit. On information truck was apprehended alongwith 02 accused and concerned authority have been info to indent the system loopholes.

Approx value of Irani Diesel, trucks, Betel Nuts, Boats, Hashish and contraband items in the market is Rs.124.08/- Millions. Further investigation and legal process is under way.
