Restrictions in place on inter-province travel, clarifies Sindh chief minister

Karachi (HRNW) Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has clarified that inter-province travel is not allowed as the province remains in lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Shah said that officials have been instructed to send people home from the Sindh-Punjab border after a number of travelers tried to cross into the country’s most populous province.

Punjab overtook Sindh as the province with the most coronavirus cases earlier this week.
