OPDs in Landhi hospitals shut down to prevent spread of Coronavirus

Karachi (HRNW) Ghulam Murtaza Baloch, Minister for Human Settlements and Special Development has said that all the departments/organisations that are work against the Corona virus, especially doctors, medical staff and law enforcement, deserve praise and the whole nation is saluting them. He said this while presiding over a meeting on Coronavirus here at Deputy Commissioner Office Malir on Tuesday.
The meeting was also attended by Member of the National Assembly Syed Agha Rafiullah, Deputy Commissioner Malir Shehzad Fazal Abbasi, DHO Malir Dr. Ahmed Ali Memon and other officers.

The meeting was informed by DHO Malir Dr Ahmad Ali Memon that corona test of 67 people had come positive in Malir district till now. On this Sindh Minister for Human Settlements Ghulam Murtaza Baloch directed DHO Malir the immediate closure of the OPDs of the private and public hospitals. The meeting was also informed about the free corona test camp in Gulshan-e-Hadid, in collaboration with the Sindh Government and Indus Hospital. The meeting was told that Coronavirus tests of 38 people were taken at Gulshan-Hadeed camp.

Earlier, provincial minister Ghulam Murtaza Baloch and member of the National Assembly Syed Agha Rafiullah also visited the camp. On this occasion, the provincial minister Ghulam Murtaza Baloch applauded and saluted the doctors and paramedics at the Corona test camp. He said that corona test camps would also be set up in Muzaffarabad and Sharifi Goth in Malir after Gulshan-e-Hadeed. Ghulam Murtaza Baloch said there was no cure for the Coronavirus except for maintaining social distance and the people should fully follow the lockdown of the Sindh Government. He said that Sindh Government was utilizing all its resources against Coronavirus with the help of the people.
