Government of Sindh’s top priority is the protection of human lives: Jam Ikram

Karachi (HRNW)- Provincial Minister for Industries & Commerce and Cooperative Department & Anti-Corruption Jam Ikramullah Dharejo has said that Sindh government’s top priority is the protection of human lives. The wheel of economic development has slowed down for the time being due to the Coronavirus, but human lives cannot be taken for granted. This he said after a meeting with the industrialists in the office of the Chief Secretary Sindh in an informal conversation with them today. He said that a large number of federal ministers and advisers should inform the public about the delay and negligence of the federal government in taking action against Coronavirus rather than criticizing the Sindh government and their non professional attitude is regrettable. Sindh government is standing with its people and the federal ministers are just in media and doing nothing except making the people fool.

He further said, ‘ There is a false and distorted impression of hunger in Sindh. Sindh cabinet ministers, assembly members, party office bearers have delivered ration to the doorsteps of deserving people in every constituency of Sindh. We believe in service. Provincial Minister Jam Ikramullah Dharejo said that the government was aware of the problems of industrialists and small traders in Sindh. We also wanted to open industries so that the stove in the worker’s house is not cool and the industrialists have to ensure that all SOPs of Sindh government are implemented so as to prevent the spread of corona virus. He added that the Industrialists would send online applications to Sindh Industries Department for opening of their Industries which would be allowed to be opened after due inspection. Jam Ikramuallah Dharejo asked them to ensure the safety of the workers and should take all safety measures to protect their respective workers from Coronavirus.

He said that Sindh Government had already taken concrete steps against the Coronavirus and we would continue our struggle against it using all our resources. The war against Coronavirus could not be won without public support.
