Logical conclusion of mega corruption scandals foremost priority: Chairman NAB

ISLAMABAD (HRNW) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (R) Javed Iqbal has reiterated that taking mega corruption cases to their logical conclusion is the department’s foremost priority.

According to details, Chairman NAB expressed these views in a meeting that he chaired on Monday.He said that out of 179 mega corruption cases, 101 references have been filed in courts while 46 of them have already been finalized.

He further said that there are currently 13 inquiries and 19 investigations of mega corruption cases in progress. Moreover, Rs 328 billion of looted money has been recovered.
