Shameful that politicians can’t unite even under grave circumstances: Sarwar

Lahore (HRNW) Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar feels the nation is currently looking at two difficult situations: the deaths caused by the coronavirus pandemic and the economic crisis due to the countrywide lockdown.

“Small-scale businesses are finished,” Governor Sarwar said while addressing the media in Lahore Tuesday. “Vendors, shopkeepers and other business owners are tired of continuous financial losses.”

Sarwar said the federal government decided to ease the lockdown to let people jump-start their businesses.

He added that those politicking on the current situation will not be spared by the public. It’s mournful that politicians can’t gather under one platform even in such grave circumstances, he said.
