Karachi (HRNW) Three people were killed after a section of the roof of an apartment collapsed in Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Jauhar Tuesday.
The victims have been identified as Aurangzeb, his wife Shiza and son Abdul Hadi.
The four-storey building was 25 years old and the roof reportedly collapsed due to seepage. It is located in Block 7.
Residents say the roof was weak and was being tiled.
Local MNA Alamgir Khan blamed the incident on the KDA and SBCA allowing the construction of illegal buildings.
