US special plane allowed to bring diplomatic staff to Islamabad

ISLAMABAD (HRNW) – Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has given permission for the landing of a special US plane, the plane will reach Islamabad carrying US diplomatic staff.

Omni Air s special plane carrying 45 members of the US diplomatic staff will arrive in Islamabad on May 30, while on return it will take eight staff members back to the US.

US diplomatic staff have been allowed to arrive in Pakistan via special plane at the request of the US State Department. The Director of CAA’s Air Transport issued the permit.

According to sources, the crew will not be allowed to disembark from the plane and CAA has said that Omni Airline will have to ensure compliance with all coronavirus protection SOPs.
