Court to hear govt’s appeal against regularisaton of 1,200 teachers

Islamabad (HRNW)  The Supreme Court has decided to take up the federal government’s appeal against the regularization of 1,200 teachers.

The court has removed its previous objections and accepted the petition. Former chief justice Asif Saeed Khosa had raised objections over the appeal and said it wasn’t filed according to the law.

On Thursday, the court said the government officers are not serious about running the country’s affairs. They took bribes to hide the files on the government’s appeal, it observed.

It warned that strict action will be taken against those who try to delay the case.

The case has been adjourned indefinitely.
