Kashmiris in IOK to celebrate Aug 14 with Pakistan: APHC

SRINAGAR (HRNW) – The All Parties Hurriyat Conference of Indian occupied Kashmir has announced to observe Pakistan’s Independence Day on August 14 with full zeal and fervor in the entire occupied territory.

The APHC spokesman in a message issued in Srinagar said, Pakistan came into being as a result of the struggle by the Muslims of South Asia under the charismatic leadership of the Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The idea of Pakistan was floated by the Poet of the East, Allama Muhammad Iqbal.

The spokesman said since Pakistan serves as a shelter for the Muslim community, the Kashmiri people will celebrate the country’s Independence Day, this year, with great enthusiasm, devotion and respect. He said the hearts of the Kashmiri people beat with Pakistan.

“We will make it clear to the international community through a statement on August 14 that we want freedom from India’s illegal occupation and associate our future with Pakistan,” the APHC spokesman added.
