He said that under the Safe City project, all minority places of worship would be monitored through CCTV cameras, which would help in providing security to the places of worship. Appreciating the role of minorities in the development of the province, the provincial minister said that the services of minorities are significant in the development of the province, adding that PPP has always solved the problems of minorities, and also direct Elected minorities representative and sent them in the Assemblies.

He added that the PPP is the true inheritor of Quaid-e-Azam’s vision, which he expressed in his August 11 address, which was the spirit of the 1973 constitution, which gave equal rights to minorities. The provincial minister further said that PPP has always taken practical and revolutionary steps for the rights and welfare of minorities. Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto as the Prime Minister set up a separate ministry for the solution and welfare of minorities. Asif Zardari started celebrating August 11 as a national day to show solidarity with the minorities.
