Sindh minister Talpur remains remained active to provide relief to the flood victims

Karachi (HRNW)- The focal person appointed by Sindh Chief Minister for Umerkot, Taimur Talpur, Minister for Information Science and Technology, remained active for the fourth day in a row to provide relief to the flood victims.

He chaired an emergency meeting in the office of the Deputy Commissioner to provide relief to the citizens in the rains and directed all the district and tehsil level officers to use all available resources to help the people affected by the torrential rains. He directed the necessary staff to be on 24-hour alert and said that in this hour of ordeal, every helpless person should be assisted and no negligence would be tolerated in the relief work. PPP National Assembly member Yousuf Talpur was also present on the occasion. After the meeting, Provincial Minister Taimur Talpur visited the affected areas and reviewed the relief works.

On this occasion, he listened to the problems of the people of the constituency and issued timely orders for their solution.

He visited all the affected areas of the district including the water pumping station and reviewed the ongoing relief work.

In addition, the provincial minister has also set up an emergency camp office in Kunri to provide relief to the people in the event of torrential rains, where a large number of people affected by the torrential rains are coming to solve their problems.

Talking on the occasion, Provincial Minister Taimur Talpur said that they consider it their duty to take care of the people in this natural calamity.
A regular camp office has been set up in Kunri to provide immediate relief to the people. By monitoring the whole situation, Sindh government and party leadership are being informed so that better relief can be given to the people of the district, he added.

He said that he was making emergency visits to the affected areas for immediate solution of public problems. This is helping to provide relief to the affected people.
