Taimur Talpur meets victims to provide relief to the citizens in stormy rains

Karachi (HRNW)- The focal person appointed by Sindh Chief Minister for Umerkot, Provincial Minister for Information Science and Technology Taimur Talpur remained active for the sixth consecutive day to provide relief to the flood victims in Umerkot. He met the victims in camp office to provide relief to the citizens in the stormy rains and issued immediate orders to solve their problems.

Apart from this, the provincial minister also visited various areas to provide immediate relief to the people across the district and listened to the problems of the people present on the spot and issued orders for immediate solution.

Talking on the occasion, Provincial Minister Taimur Talpur said that this is the sixth consecutive day of heavy rains in Umerkot district and we are making continuous efforts to ensure relief activities. “We have also instructed our relief teams and officials to expedite the drainage process to help people stranded in remote areas and ensure food supply for the victims,” ​​he said.

The provincial minister further said that more than 60 per cent crops have been destroyed in Umerkot, farmers are facing severe difficulties and they consider it their duty to take care of the people in this natural calamity. And by monitoring the whole situation, they are informing the Sindh government and party leadership so that better relief can be given to the people of the district.

He said that he was making emergency visits to the affected areas for immediate solution of public problems. This is helping to provide relief to the affected people.
