Alhamra Will Hold Children Theatre

Lahore (HRNW)- The Lahore Arts Council has always organized healthy entertainment for the people, especially children, which not only give the children a chance to enjoy but also plays an important role in their training. In this regard, the Lahore Arts Council has organized a theatre festival for children by adopting its legacy, for awareness and training through entertainment.
The deadline to submit the scripts for the competition is October 25.2020. Ten best plays will be selected in the contest, and the amount of fifty thousand will be given to the winner, forty for the second position and thirty thousand will be awarded for the third position.
The Lahore Arts Council is inviting all the organizations working for the prosperity and training for the children in any capacity at the Alhamra’s Children Festival. At the festival, all stalls related to children will be set up, include food; face painting, books, and other stalls of children’s enjoyment.
The festival aims to hone children’s creativity; LAC mission is to make children dignified citizens through constructive development in the field of art.
Executive Director of the Lahore Arts Council Saman Rai said “LAC arranged this festival because most of our new generation is unaware of the norms, of our society. These activities would positively mould them,” Rai said that it would be another effort by the Council to promote healthy activity among the children. “Such events would help create awareness and beneficial compaction among people and students and spreading the message of peace and harmony in society, and such festival is essential for grooming our youth, she added.
Information office Alhamra Samreen Bukhari said that “Alhamra arranges different festivals and events regularly because LAC believe that getting a degree only, is not important but getting the knowledge of core issues is vital not only for children but also for the betterment of the society,”.
