Alhamra Signed MoU with the Little Art

Lahore (HRNW) – The Lahore Arts Council signed another Memorandum of Understating to promote the arts and culture here on Tuesday at Alhamra Art Centre, the Mall. The Lahore Arts Council has the aim to encourage youth to engage in healthy activities and cultural endeavours to maximize their involvement in the promotion of culture and literature.
In connection with this, CEO the Little Arts Shoaib Iqbal and Executive Director Alhamra Saman Rai signed MoU at a graceful ceremony organized by Alhamra Arts Centre, the Mall. Instrumental and singing performances by the students of Alhamra Academy of Performing Arts were also the part of the event.
Speaking on occasion, CEO “TLA” Shoaib Iqbal said that it is an honour for The Little Art to join hands with Alhamra for the promotion of arts and culture, especially among children and youth. He further said that this strategic partnership would enable us to present bigger festivals and events in collaboration with Alhamra for families and children.
Executive Director of the Lahore Arts Council Saman Rai said that from now TLA might display their stalls for the sale of its artistic and cultural publications, books, magazine, souvenirs and other related items at the time of festivals and other events of the TLA. Rai said that Alhamra is a platform that has always worked for the development of art and the artist, the purpose of establishing this agreement with TLA is to promote art among the youth, especially in children. “Our children are the future of Pakistan; we want this future to be trained in such a way that they can win every field in the world” she added.
Under the MoU, both organizations have agreed to develop their resources and hold conferences, seminars, talks and workshops on artistic, literary, cultural and intellectual topics.
The occasion was attended by, Deputy Director Admin Aftab Ahmed Ansari, Assistant Director Admin Khurram Naveel Deputy Director PR Subha Sadiq, Information Officer Samreen Bukhari and Senior Manager Development “The Little Arts” Omar Ijaz Khan.
