Karachi (HRNW)- During the ongoing campaign against corrupt elements across the province on the instructions of Jam Ikramullah Dharejo, Provincial Minister for Industries & Commerce and Cooperative Department, Anti-Corruption Nowshero Feroze has arrested the former Mukhtiarkhar and contractor in two separate operations and has started an investigation against XEN.
According to details, the team of anti-corruption Nowshero Feroze led by Circle Officer Qazi Sharafuddin has arrested former Mukhtiarkhar Zulfiqar Ali Kabur involved in corruption. In another operation, contractor Ghulam Rasool Mallah was arrested for using substandard construction materials in the construction of drainage in Moro in the Annual Development Program for 2011-12, while investigation has been initiated against XEN Nowshero Feroze Mohammad Omar Sial. According to sources, the said XEN and the contractor have caused a loss of more than Rs 16.4 million to the government exchequer. In a statement, Jam Ikramullah Dharejo Provincial Minister for Industries & Commerce and Cooperative Department & Anti-Corruption, has praised the performance of the Anti-Corruption Establishment Sindh in eradicating corruption and discouraging corrupt elements. He said that with the same spirit and enthusiasm, we would continue our operations against corrupt elements and fulfill the dream of a corruption-free Sindh province.
