Sindh is committed to protect the rights of differently abled persons, Qasim Naveed Qamar

KarachiĀ  (HRNW) On the direction of Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar, Special Assistant to the CM Sindh on Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Department, ceremonies were organized in special education and rehabilitation centers across the province on the occasion of International Day of differently abled Persons. In which awareness was provided about the problems, rights and responsibilities of differently abled people.
On the occasion of International Day of differently abled people, events were organized in Karachi, Thatta, Hyderabad, Sanghar, Jacobabad and other districts at the governmental level and in collaboration with NGOs. The events were attended by students, teachers of Special Education and Rehabilitation Centers, government officers, social workers and dignitaries of the city. Speakers at these events praised the role of the Sindh government in dealing with differently abled persons and appreciated the effective measures taken by Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Sindh.
Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar, Special Assistant to CM Sindh on DEPD, has said in a statement that there is a need for all of us to play our part in making differently abled people active members of the society. He further said that the government of Sindh is committed to protect the rights of differently abled persons and Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Sindh is playing its full role to make these special persons active members of the society.
