Lahore Arts Council signed MOU for bilateral cooperation with Urban Unit

Lahore (HRNW) The Lahore Arts Council Alhamra, Department of Information and Culture, Government of Punjab signed a Memorandum of Understating (MoU) with Urban Unit, P&D Government of Punjab on the basis of bilateral cooperation to promote the arts and culture here on Friday.
The MoU was signed by Executive Director Lahore Arts Council Saman Rai and CEO Urban Unit Muhammad Omar Masood in a grace full.
Speaking at the event, Muhammad Omar Masood, CEO, Urban Unit, P&D, said that our culture is very diverse but it needs to be highlighted for which every effort will be made.
Executive Director Lahore Arts Council Saman Rai said that Alhamra is a platform that had always worked for the development of art, artist and culture. She further said that the purpose of establishing this agreement was to promote art among the youth.
Under the MoU, both organizations agreed to develop their resources. Deputy Director Admin Aftab Ahmad Ansari, Deputy Director Archive Mohammad Arif, DDPR Subha Sadiq, Communication specialist Urban Unit Memoona Arsalan Bhatti, Naveed Ahsan, Assistant Director Admin Alhamra Khurram Naveel and Naveen Roma attended the function. The heads of the two institutions expressed their determination to make joint efforts to promote their culture. Souvenirs were also exchanged on the occasion.
