Rufaida Hamdard College announce two-year post-RN program

Karachi (HRNW) The first formal meeting of the Board of Studies of Rufaida Hamdard College of Nursing, a subsidiary of Hamdard University, the largest private sector university in the country, was held at college’s conference room yesterday. The board members were of the view that Hamdard University being the largest private sector university in the country has the national responsibility to offer new courses to enhance the human resources of the country. The members also agreed to introduce a two-year post-RN program and a four-year BS Nursing program to expand the portfolio of Rufaida Hamdard College of Nursing by registering and getting approval from Pakistan Nursing Council. The BS Nursing degree can be obtained after only two years of education through the two-year Post RN program.
The Board meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Rafat Jan, Associate Dean, Aga Khan University School of Nursing and Midwifery and former President, Pakistan Nursing Council.
Dr. Riaz-ul-Haq, Chief Executive Brigadier (Retd) of Hamdard University Hospital and Ms. Alia Nasir, Principal of Rafida Hamdard College of Nursing also attended the meeting.
