Sindh Excise Deptt seized 40 kg chars. One accused arrested

Karachi (HRNW) In another successful operation, Sindh Excise Department foiled an attempt to bring chars from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Karachi. According to details, Excise and Narcotics Inspector Hassan Ali Dashti along with his team at Sindh Punjab Border Kumbo Shaheed Check Post recovered 40 kg of chars during a search of suspicious truck number OKI-1222. The chars was being brought to Karachi from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

An accused Rashid resident of Attock was arrested and a case has been registered against the accused . An investigation has been launched. Meanwhile Mukesh Kumar Chawla, Provincial Minister for Excise & Taxation and Narcotics Control Department & Parliamentary Affairs, has congratulated Ubarou Excise Police on the successful operation and said that continued success against drug dealers is the result of the hard work of the officers and officials and he is hopeful that the officers will continue their operations against drug dealers in the same spirit.
