KARACHI: (HRNW) Provincial Minister Jam Ikramullah Dharijo has directed the officers of the Anti-Corruption Department to expedite the operations. An important meeting on curbing wheat smuggling was held under the chairmanship of Provincial Minister for Industry and Trade and Anti-Corruption Jam Ikramullah Dharijo.
Jam Ikramullah Dharijo directed that the distribution of wheat bags should be made transparent. Take effective measures to curb trafficking and register cases against those involved.
Jam Ikramullah Dharijo clarified that last year, the officers of the Food Department misappropriated wheat bags were dealt with very slowly. Officers of the Anti-Corruption Department should take action against the elements involved in corruption without any discrimination, he added.
