KARACHI: (HRNW) Shah Latif Police in Karachi have arrested a man for stealing more than Rs 100,000 from a mosque donation box.
SSP Malir Irfan Bahadur said that the accused was identified from the CCTV footage of the incident. An accused named Ahmad Shah broke the lock of a donation box of a mosque in Liaquatabad on January 30 and stole money.
Accused Ahmad Shah has revealed that he bought drugs with the stolen money during interrogation. On the identification of the arrested accused, accused Abdul Jabbar was arrested and drugs and money were recovered.
