KARACHI: (HRNW) Collector Customs Saqif Saeed has said that Customs Anti-Smuggling has thwarted the smuggling of goods worth Rs 44.15 crore including non-customs paid vehicles in 18 days.
Addressing a press conference at Customs House Karachi, Collector Customs Saqib Saeed said that the anti-smuggling team seized Chhalia worth Rs 21 crore and nine non-customs paid vehicles worth Rs 12 crore.
The smuggling of Rs 24 million worth of non-customs paid cigarettes and cosmetics worth Rs 42 million from Jodia Bazaar near Jamshed Road was also foiled.
