KARACHI: (HRNW) A meeting of Corona Task Force was held in Karachi under the chairmanship of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.
Health Minister Dr. Azra informed the meeting that corona cases in Karachi have reached 8.9 percent. 16.64 per cent cases are being reported in Hyderabad while 2.72 per cent cases are being reported in other districts.
Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that the increase in cases in Karachi and Hyderabad was disturbing. If the people are not careful, the cases will continue to increase.
The Chief Minister said that there are 531 ventilators in Karachi hospitals. An additional 70 ventilators are being added.
The Chief Minister said that the Sindh government has significantly increased the equipment and facilities in the hospitals.
