KARACHI: (HRNW) The Sindh High Court (SHC) summoned the Foreign Secretary and Secretary Home Ministry for non-recovery of missing persons on May 27.
The Sindh High Court heard the petitions of the families of the missing persons. The court expressed frustration over the non-appearance of the federal home secretary.
The court remarked that the detention centers are subordinate to the provincial government and if the Home Secretary does not appear at the next hearing with an explanation, he will be responsible for the consequences.
The court summoned both the secretaries and adjourned further proceedings till May 27.
