Vaccine supply is a responsibility of federal Government: Murad Ali Shah

Karachi (HRNW) Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that corona vaccine has been reduced in Sindh and it is the responsibility of the federation.

Addressing a press conference in Karachi on Wednesday, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that the federal government had asked Sindh not to worry about vaccines and to increase the number of vaccinations. Sindh complied with it, but after Punjab the day after yesterday, the vaccine process in Sindh has also been disrupted since Tuesday.

Murad Ali Shah said that business is opening in the countries where vaccination has been done but the federal government does not allow Sindh to buy the vaccine. Reducing vaccine supplies is a federal responsibility.

Dr. Faisal Sultan, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, has said that the shortage of Corona vaccine is only for a few days and after June 20, it will go away and further improvement will come.

Dr. Faisal clarified that those who have taken the first dose should not worry about the second dose as the second dose can be given with a delay of a few days or weeks. This delay does not eliminate the effect of the first dose. He added that there are currently 2 million doses of vaccine in the country and this process will continue.
