Lahore (HRNW) Distribution of relief money to the families of the martyrs and injured of Johar Town blast has started.
DC Lahore Mudassar Riaz Malik distributed checks among the victims. Injured Safia Bibi, who is undergoing treatment at Jinnah Hospital, was given a check of Rs. 17 lakh.
Safia Bibi’s husband and son were killed and another son was injured in the Johartown blast. Rs 1.2 million was provided for injured Abdul Rehman, Intezar, Zahida Bibi and Atif Ali.
DC Lahore said that a total amount of Rs. 90 lakh would be distributed. Checks are being prepared for other dead, injured and property damage. They will also be given checks in the next day or two.
