KARACHI: (HRNW) Rangers and police in a joint operation in Surjani Town area of Karachi have arrested a most wanted member of a gang involved in extortion.
According to a Rangers spokesman, the accused Mohammad Nasir had called a resident of Taiser Town two weeks ago for extortion of Rs 2.5 million and threatened to kidnap his son and kill him if he did not pay the extortion. The businessman called the Rangers helpline and the extortionist was arrested.
