LAHORE: (HRNW) The Lahore Arts Council (Alhamra) has set up a monthly calendar of events, drama festivals, exhibitions, music programs and other arts programs as part of the event calendar. People will get this calendar very soon. In this regard a review meeting was held here on Friday at Alhamra Art Center. The Mall.
The meeting was chaired by Executive Director Alhamra Ijaz Ahmed Minhas. During the meeting, in addition to the event calendar, Ijaz Minhas also ordered to issue monthly performance reports regarding efforts in lifting Alhamra’s programming standards to an international level.
On the occasion, Executive Director Ijaz Ahmed Minhas said that all the officers of Alhamra should efficiently focus on their target so that the best results could be achieved as teamwork is the guarantor of quality programming.
Director of art and culture Zulfiqar Ali Zulfi said that the weekly music program “Funkar Humaray” is becoming very popular among the people, and more such programs will be organized in the future.
The valuable views of the officers were reviewed and steps would be taken to spread the activities of Alhamra to the maximum number of people.
Deputy Director Admin Aftab Ahmad Ansari, Deputy Director Archives Muhammad Arif, Assistant Director Admin Khuram Naveel, Mina. Curator Hajra Mehmood, Account Officer Mazhar Iqbal Assistant Program Mehmood Yaqoob, Tahir Mehmood, Irfan Inayat were also present.
