Karachi (HRNW)- Provincial Minister for Industries & Commerce and Cooperative Department Jam Ikramullah Dharejo, while talking to media in Sindh Assembly Building today, has said that the performance of the federal government is a question mark. Failure to start work on Hyderabad-Sukkur Motorway is a result of incompetence of the federal government. While funds have been released for this project. It is unfortunate that work has not started despite the release of funds.
Jam Ikramullah Dharejo further said that the quality of Karachi-Hyderabad Motorway is also not good. The quality of motorways being built in other provinces is much better. He said that the federal government had not allowed Sindh to do so as per the constitution. ‘ We demand federal government to stop treating Sindh like a stepmother. The attitude of the federal government towards Sindh is beyond comprehension’ . he said.
Provincial Minister for Industries & Commerce and Cooperative Department Jam Ikramullah Dharejo said that Sindh water is also stolen. Due to which our crops are drying up and the farmers of Sindh are helpless. He said that the incompetence of the federal government had become a torment for the people. Where was the federal package of Rs. 1100 billion announced for Sindh province?
Jam Ikramullah Dharejo said that if the federation does a little development work then it is the right of the people of Sindh. Sindh province pays the highest taxes but when it comes to development projects we get nothing.
