Sindh: Illegal sale of Iranian oil at 154 petrol pumps

Karachi (HRNW) The sale of oil smuggled from Iran has been revealed at 154 petrol pumps in 5 cities of Sindh including Karachi.

The sale of smuggled Iranian oil at petrol pumps in Sindh has been officially confirmed. The Sindh Home Secretary convened a meeting on Tuesday to discuss the sale of Iranian oil.

The Special Branch has sent a list of all such petrol pumps selling Iranian oil to the Home Secretary.

According to official documents, Iranian oil is being sold at 154 petrol pumps in Sindh and some police officers are also allegedly involved in the case.

Of these, 10 are in Karachi, 32 in Hyderabad, 36 in Mirpur Khas, 8 in Sukkur and 68 in Larkana.

There are 5 petrol pumps in Malir district in Karachi, 3 in the central and 2 in the south selling Iranian oil.

In addition, there are four illegal storage sites for Iranian oil in four cities in Sindh, with the highest number being 108 in Sukkur, 111 in Mirpur Khas, six in Karachi and one in Hyderabad.
